General Care Instructions
The life of your casual furniture fabric largely depends on its care and use. To refresh your outdoor fabrics, periodically hose down with with water. Thoroughly clean your casual furniture seasonally and spot clean when necessary. Certain suntan and sun block products may permanently discolor any fabric. Clean spots promptly. Do not use chlorine bleach unless specifically listed as suitable for use on the fabric. For all cleaning methods, test a sample area prior to full cleaning to insure against discoloration or permanent damage to the fabric.
PVC Yarn Coated Polyester
General Cleaning - Use warm water and liquid dishwashing or laundry detergent. Air dry thoroughly.
Suntan Lotion, Oils, and Grease - Rub with rubbing alcohol. Rinse with water.
Mildew - Wash with liquid detergent, warm water and chlorine bleach. Rinse with water.
Beer and Coffee - Wash with liquid detergent, warm water and white vinegar. Rinse with water.
Juices, Wine, and Blood - Wash wih liquid detergent, warm watet and ammonia or hydrogen peroxide. Rinse wih water.
100% Vinyl
General Cleaning - Use warm water and mild detergent.
Suntan Lotion, Oils, and Grease - Wash with warm water and mild detergent. Rub briskly with rough cloth or soft bristle brush.
Mildew - Wash with warm water and mild detergent. Rub briskly with rough cloth or soft bristle brush.
Beer and Coffee - Do not use chlorine bleach, harsh detergents, or stiff bristle brushes. Dry-cleaning chemicals in commercial spot removers may cause hardening of vinyl.
Juices, Wine, and Blood - Do not use chlorine bleach, harsh detergents, or stiff bristle brushes. Dry-cleaning chemicals in commercial spot removers may cause hardening of vinyl.
Woven Polyester with 100% PVC Coating
General Cleaning - Use warm water and liquid dishwashing or laundry detergent. Air dry thoroughly.
Suntan Lotion, Oils, and Grease - Treat stains with nonabrasive household cleaners, rubbing alcohol or chlorine bleach. Rinse with water. Air dry in bright sun.

Suntan Lotion, Oils, and Grease - Saturate stain with warm water and mild liquid detergent. Rub gently with cloth or soft bristle brush. Rinse with water. Air dry in bright sun.
Mildew - Saturate stain with warm water and mild liquid detergent. Rub gently with cloth or soft bristle brush. Rinse with water. Air dry in bright sun.

Printed or Piece-Dyed Woven 100% Polyester
General Cleaning - Use warm water and mild liquid detergent. Rub gently with soft bristle brush. Rinse with water. Air dry. Do not use chlorine bleach, harsh detergents, or abrasives.
Suntan Lotion, Oils, and Grease - Treat Stains promptly with solution of 1/4 cup mild liquid detergent to one gallon warm water. Flush stain liberally with detergent solution. Rub gently with cloth or soft bristle brush. Rinse with water. Air dry.
Mildew - Treat Stains promptly with solution of 1/4 cup mild liquid detergent to one gallon warm water. Flush stain liberally with detergent solution. Rub gently with cloth or soft bristle brush. Rinse with water. Air dry.

Solution-Dyed Acrylic (Solids, Textures, Stripes)
General Cleaning - Use warm water and mild detergent. Rinse with water. Air dry.
Suntan Lotion, Oils, and Grease - Use a fabric spot remover, following instructions. Test first on inconspicuous area. Rinse thoroughly with water. Air dry.
Mildew - Make solution of 1 cup chlorine bleach, 4 tablespoons liquid mild detergent, and 1 gallon cold water. Spray over entire area and allow to soak. Scrub vigorously with sponge, if needed. Rinse with water. Air dry.
PVC/Acrylic Blends
General Cleaning - Use warm water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly. Air dry. Do not use pine-oil cleaners.
Suntan Lotion, Oils, and Grease - Use solution recommended by manufacturer. Sponge thoroughly. Rinse with water. Do not use pine-oil cleaners or harsh abrasives.
Mildew - Wash with liquid detergent, warm water and chlorine bleach. Rinse thoroughly with water.
Olefin or PVC/Olefin Blends
General Cleaning - Use warm water and mild detergent. Rinse with water. Air dry.
Suntan Lotion, Oils, and Grease - Apply a volatile paint remover, dry- cleaning solution or 100% mineral spirits to stain. Rub lightly with soft cloth. Rinse thoroughly with water. Air dry.
Mildew - Wash with hot water and liquid detergent. Do not use chlorine bleach. Non-chlorine bleach may be used. Scrub with soft bristle brush if needed. Flush with clean water. Dry in bright sun.
Beer and Coffee - Treat stain with hot water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly wih water. A laundry pre-wash may be used on stubborn stains. Leave on for 10 minutes and remove wih hot water and detergent solution. Rinse thoroughly.
Juices, Wine, and Blood - Apply protein or enzyme spotter. Laundry detergent containing enzymes will also work. Rinse thoroughly with water.
